PA Wilds Conservation Shop at Marienville Four Seasons Trailhead
Cook Forest & the Ancients
The third PA Wilds Conservation Shop opened summer of 2024 at Marienville. It is made possible through a partnership with Jenks Township Supervisors, who own and manage the restored train station at the Four Seasons Trailhead, and the PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship, Inc., the nonprofit that manages the gift shops. Located along a portion of the Knox and Kane Rail Trail, the shop is a convenient stop for cyclists, hikers, and even ATV riders. As travelers explore the Allegheny National Forest + Surrounds landscape of the PA Wilds, shop staff are happy to give recommendations of things to do in Forest County and beyond. Marienville is the home of the annual Forest County Bigfoot Festival, so fans of the furry cryptid are sure to find a unique souvenir celebrating Bigfoot himself and other PA Wilds-themed products.
Experience our Landscapes
The PA Wilds region is a large region covering a quarter of the Commonwealth. Our communities share a rich lumber, conservation and cultural heritage. However, there are also sub-regions in the PA Wilds, known as Landscapes, that have their own unique character and place-specific experiences. Each of our Landscapes has its own remarkable assets and identity. And they can make your trip planning (and shopping) even easier!
