Returns may be accepted within 7 days of receipt in the original, unused, undamaged condition. Additionally, I ask that the buyer contact me with the intent to return within 4 days of receipt of item. Refund can be given as credit for further purchases or as money back when the undamaged item is received.

Pink Positive is a hand-painted silk scarf inspired by the Madagascar periwinkle — a small, resilient bloom that has quietly contributed to healing through modern medicine.
Julie first explored this flower in her Power Within painting series, which celebrated plants that play a role in human wellness. Here, she revisits its hopeful spirit through color — blending shades of pink, yellow, and green in layered washes of silk dye.
Most blossoms are outlined with colored gutta while some recieved details with a decolourant technique that lifts sections of dye to reveal light and movement across the crepe silk. The result is a vibrant, one-of-a-kind design that reflects optimism and quiet strength.
This one-of-a-kind silk scarf is hand painted using dyes which allows the silk to retain its naturally flowing "hand" and remain soft to the touch. Once painted, each scarf is wrapped separately in cotton and steamed to set the dyes permanently to the fibers. Julie has chosen to use steam to set the dyes and water soluble resist for serti techniques to avoid the use of chemicals for all of her silk art.
